Founded in 1971 by Joseph Haley, JRW will proudly celebrate its 50th Anniversary season in 2021. A native of Louisiana and graduate of Grambling State University, Mr Haley believed a Little League program in his  south Side Chicago community would be an excellent opportunity bring neighborhood kids and adult volunteers together to provide a quality recreational program for the quickly growing community. JRW “believes in the power of youth baseball to teach life lessons that build stronger individuals and communities.”JRW is a chartered member of Little League headquartered in Williamsport, Pennsylvania and a federally chartered 501 c 3 charitable organization.  All coaches and officers serve on a volunteer basis. Since it’s inception, JRW has had a positive impact on the lives of thousands of participants, kids and adults alike. JRW currently offers Little League baseball for boys and girls ages 4 -13. The JRW Challenger Division, which provides an opportunity for boys and girls with men’s and physical challenges, will celebrate its 10th season in 2021. The 2021 season will mark the first year of  Intermediate Division for boys and girls 11-13 years of age. Sincere thanks to all of the volunteers and sponsors who have contributed their time and resources to the kids of JRW since 1971.
